Read the Ford service instructions about removing the mirror/sensor covers, helped a lot. Took only seconds to remove the covers.
Wiring connections again, were really easy, all connected in 30 seconds. Well engineered & connections fit perfectly and securely.
Now are the learning lessons I had known before mounting the camera.
1) Clean the windshield while you have the old cover off, before you mount the new cover/camera.
2) After you make all the connections, cut off the white labels. See pictures, they are really visible and spoils the OEM look in my opinion.
3) Really do a good job tucking the wires deep inside far behind the camera so they are not visible after it's mounted - see pics. It ended up taking 3 tries mounting & removing the camera & cover before I was satisfied.
4) Remove the lens cover- lol oops.
Again, really impressed with the camera & software. The look inside the car is so OEM I don’t think most would even notice the dash camera. I only got the front view, didn't want to run wires from the rear.

I really appreciate the included power cable, making it easy to tap into the existing power. Very clean and simple wiring job that is just a huge difference maker. The best part is the way it looks, as close to OEM as possible. Worth every penny!

1.Mangoal dash cams are only compatible with specific vehicle model, the wrong model can't fit.It doesn't support to add a rear camera separately if you've already had the single front camera! Because the PCB boards are different.
2.The camera's WiFi is not remote. Please download important clips to your phone while in the car and engine is on if needed.
3.Why is the preview screen of the camera not clear when viewed through the APP?
The image quality of the APP preview interface is specially compressed for smooth APP experience. Click on the APP "Camera File" to view the original AHD quality video.

When I am at home, can my mobile phone connect to the dash cam's WIFI?
First of all, The camera's WiFi is not remote,Cannot connect remotely.Secondly, If you need to connect to the recorder WIFI at a close distance, provided that the engine is on and the recorder is turned on normally.
If I place an order for the front camera host package now, can I purchase the rear camera separately later?
No, these are two completely different sets of cameras.
Can a mobile phone be connected to CarPlay and camera wifi at the same time?
The phone cannot be connected to CarPlay and dash cam WiFi at the same time, but the camera records automatically when car starts, so you don't need to keep it connected to camera all the time.
