I ordered this Dashcam for my new 2024 Ford Escape ST Line AWD. It's supposed to have the rain sensor and Auto dimming mirror. But as you can see,the vehicle has neither (Ford is not a good word in our house at the moment) . Thankfully, Mangoal also included a OBD2 cable,which I used for my install. My install went quite well,and thanks to the OBD2 install video and supplied pry tool, I was able to hide all the cable.They even include 2 zip ties to bundle up the excess cable with. After several attempts (Camera kept shutting down) we were able to connect the Camera. We finally realized that the Wifi was trying to Auto reconnect to my two home SSIDs and a local Hotspot. After I realized this,I moved the vehicle out of range of these and then then the Camera connected perfectly. The product comes very professionally packaged in a outer and inner box.
All in all in all, I am happy with the product and give it a score of 9 out of 10. The item is a bit expensive for a Dashcam,but can overlook this in view if the fact it was tailored for my vehicle.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the photo and video quality of this dashcam, as well as its very discreet appearance. The customer service was also excellent. At first, I was worried because I didn't realize my 2024 Ford Escape didn't have a rain sensor. Thankfully, the kit included three types of cables. The seller was very patient and responsive, guiding me step by step and sending video tutorials on how to install it through the OBD port. In the end, I was able to install it easily and neatly--even with my barely acceptable skills, lol.
Installed this in my 2022 Ford Escape SE. The setup was quick and easy--just 10 minutes to install, and it was running right away.
To be honest, figuring out the phone app took longer than anything else. I probably won’t even use the app much, since the micro SD card is so easy to access directly.

1.Mangoal dash cams are only compatible with specific vehicle model, the wrong model can't fit.It doesn't support to add a rear camera separately if you've already had the single front camera! Because the PCB boards are different.
2.The camera's WiFi is not remote. Please download important clips to your phone while in the car and engine is on if needed.
3.Why is the preview screen of the camera not clear when viewed through the APP?
The image quality of the APP preview interface is specially compressed for smooth APP experience. Click on the APP "Camera File" to view the original AHD quality video.

When I am at home, can my mobile phone connect to the dash cam's WIFI?
First of all, The camera's WiFi is not remote,Cannot connect remotely.Secondly, If you need to connect to the recorder WIFI at a close distance, provided that the engine is on and the recorder is turned on normally.
If I place an order for the front camera host package now, can I purchase the rear camera separately later?
No, these are two completely different sets of cameras.
Can a mobile phone be connected to CarPlay and camera wifi at the same time?
The phone cannot be connected to CarPlay and dash cam WiFi at the same time, but the camera records automatically when car starts, so you don't need to keep it connected to camera all the time.
