The installation manual is not the best as there are some grammar errors, but enough context to get the clue. I also find the installation video to help the best. The included trim pry bar is soft and pretty crappy. I had to run to the local auto parts store and buy a much better set to work with the trim removal job. But everything works like the instruction says during the installation, nothing hard at all. If you aren't that inclined to work with automotive wiring, you should really consider this kit because it's truly plug and play and trust me, if you had to go under the dashboard to tap a power and ground from the fuse box, then run the wires all the way up to the top of the windshield, it's going to ruin your whole weekend. This kit actually saves you all that figuring out and odd angles you'll bend your body to get the job done. All you have to do is focus on one area, that rear-view mirror trim piece, and plug in the pre-made harness to tap for power, you're good to go from there. So much better doing it this one.

Anyway, installation was a breeze for me, the video quality is very clear. The downloaded video has crystal clear images and can zoom to discern the license plate details of car in front of me, during my trial and look, about 7-8 car length out is where it starts to get blurry and inconceivable. But overall, very clear images, High enough FPS, and the most important thing is that the installation was so easy. Modern cars has a lot of electronic pet-peeves to the point that adding power source isn't easy at all. This kit lets you tap for power unscathed by error codes. For simplicity in getting power to the camera and how the end result is a finely integrated look, I highly recommend this kit for your good SUV.
